Badeya are a 16 piece Cultural Dance Group based in The Gambia but the band members originate from Conakry, New Guinea, Masturay, Columbia, Nimba, Liberia, and Barabagan, India. 

The band was formed in 2006 and began as a small act but overtime Badeya continues to grow. So far there are 5 female and 3 male dancers, 6 Djembe players,  a Dun Dun drummer and a Balafon percussionist.

Cozmic Dave is also available to teach Djembe for absolute beginners within a 100 miles radius of The Forest Of Dean, Gloucestershire.

His tutorials will get you started on how to drum at a satisfactory level, intended to provide the learner with sufficient experience to move into intermediate classes with more advanced tutors, highly recommended for anyone intending to travel to The Gambia for workshops with Moko Camara.
