Badeya are a 16 piece Cultural Dance Group based in The Gambia but the band members originate from Conakry, New Guinea, Masturay, Columbia, Nimba, Liberia, and Barabagan, India.
The band was formed in 2006 and began as a small act but overtime Badeya continues to grow. So far there are 5 female and 3 male dancers, 6 Djembe players, a Dun Dun drummer and a Balafon percussionist.
